Top three mascara’s of the moment!

Hi guys!

Like most things in make-up, everyone has his or her differing preferences. When it comes to mascara, some like there’s clumpy and spider-like, some like just to change the colour of the lash and others, like me are difficult. I like my mascara to work miracles on my lashes; I want length, separation, curl and VOLUME!

I have tried quite a few different types in my lifetime, but so far I have found that the more high-end ones do the trick. They are more likely to meet my demands, not dry up so quickly and not irritate my eyes.

My current top three mascara’s are:

3. The MAC False Lashes Extreme Black Mascara

I received this as a free sample with my MAC purchases a few months ago and I have been hooked ever since, it lengthens and separates beautifully and does not tug at my lashes when I am removing it at the end of the day. Also, I am yet to notice it smudging.

2. Clinique’s High Impact Mascara

A newbie to the collection, this is pretty much the same as the MAC False Lashes Extreme Black, but just a little bit cheaper. I will defo be repurchasing!

1. Benefit They’re Real! Mascara

I have such a love-hate relationship with this mascara. I love what happens to my look after application, this is my go to when I need full lashes but I do not want to deal with the aggravation of false lashes. It provides the most length (in my opinion) than any other mascara I have used, but it takes about two days for it to be removed! Which is great if you have an important event or date to go on and need something that will last. But when you’re tired and you want no traces of makeup on your face, you’ll have an issue getting this off.

ALTHOUGH! There is a remover, if you have the money to splurge, I would invest in the kit.

So there you have it folks, my favourite mascara’s of the minute, I will keep trying new ones out and let you know how my trails turn out. In the meantime, any suggestions are welcomed!

As always, thanks for reading.

With love
